This set will engage the minds of boys and girls - young and old. Just watch the dad's eyes light up as they join in the fun - showing the kids how it is done. The set contains 48 nuts and bolts and 8 building rods. The bolts have 4 different shaped ends: circle, triangle, square and hexagon and their nuts match them. Not are there 4 different shapes but 4 different colours as well. Red = Square, Green = Triangle, Yellow = Circle and Blue = hexagon.

The bolts are long enough to be able to fit three nuts on them so you cam make patterns and then get the child to match it - IE square bolt with triangle, square then circle nut on it. You can screw the bolts into the building rods to build shapes from simple cars (yes they do roll along) to intricate shapes using multiple rods and bolts. Every time you play you can come up with something new.

This is a toy that will last and grow with the child as the older they get the more they can experiment putting pieces together which will lead them into other construction sets.

This set will enhance fine motor skills, promote shape and colour recognition, improve problem solving skills and can be used for counting as well.
