Description:

A quality wooden birthday cake that can be "cut" into 6 slices, decorated with fruit and lollies and put a candle in the middle with the appropriate age sticker on it.

Children will have endless fun playing birthdays or tea partys with this cake. They can assemble the cake pieces together to make a cake, they attach to each other by velcro, then add the toppings which also attach by velcro. They put the centre piece in the middle and attach the candle by velcro. Watch them play at blowing out the candle then cutting and serving this colourful cake to their friends or dolls and teddys.

Encourages imagination and storytelling abilitys, creativity, fine motor skills, improves numeracy skills, counting the pieces of toppings and slices. Can be used to demonstrate subtraction - take one piece away how many left?
