This set consists of one wooden leaf with holes spaced around the outside edge and in the middle, 7 wooden insect shapes also with holes in them and two brightly coloured laces. All the bugs attach to the leaf by threading with the laces. Ther leaf has holes around the edge for threading other things as well.
Children always want to do things themselves. With the lacing insect leaf you can let them! Teach them the basics of lacing and see their satisfaction as they complete the task and make their own picture with the insects on the leaf.

Lacing shapes foster creative play, encourages independent skills and strengthens fine motor skills especially hand eye co-ordination.
