This puzzle is for counting one to ten. The puzzle pieces fit into a recessed board. Each segment of the caterpillar's body has a different number on it. When the piece is removed the number and its numeral are underneath ie: 2 Two. Excellent for children learning how to count to ten and introduces them to the numbers in words.

The puzzle will not fit together correctly unless numbers are in right order.

Enhances fine motor skills, counting, number and word recognition.

Makes a great set with our butterfly alphabet puzzle.
